We will pick you up from your hotel/hostel around 3:00 am and we will take you by bus to Ollantaytambo, where you will take a train to Aguas Calientes. You will arrive to Aguas Calientes around 7:50 am. Here you will take a bus to Machu Picchu, where you will arrive around 8:30 am.

In Machu Picchu our tour guide will be waiting for you, and they will take you on an amazing trip through the Inca ruins, showing you the most important places and describing their purposes during the Inca times. It is a great lesson in the history and culture of the Inca Empire paired with a very nice walk in beautiful scenery.

You will also have plenty of time to discover this unique place on your own. If you will choose to hike the additional mountain Huayna Picchu, you can begin after 10 am. Remember that you need to be in front of the entrance to Huayna Picchu at the time specified on the ticket. Hiking this mountain is always scheduled at a specific time, and it is not possible to change it.

You can stay in Machu Picchu until 5 pm. From Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes you will come back on your own. You can walk down (it takes around 1,5-2 hours, sometimes more – depending on the physical condition of the person) or you can take a bus. If you decide to return earlier from Machu Picchu ruins, then you will have more time to visit Aguas Caleintes town.

Remember that you need to be in Aguas Calientes at least 30 minutes before the departure of your train to Ollantaytambo.

In Ollantaytambo, near the train station our bus will be waiting, which will take you to Cusco. Your one-day Machu Picchu trip will end in Plaza de Armas in Cusco after midnight.
